Critical injuries after stabbing in Sarnia

A man faces critical injuries and the police are looking to speak to three individuals, after a stabbing early this morning in Sarnia.

Sarnia Police official say this morning, November 9, shortly after 2 a.m., officers responded to a stabbing that took place in the area of Wellington Street and Mitton Street.

Upon arriving, officers were able to locate a 36-year-old victim in the parking lot area of the convenience store who had allegedly been stabbed.

The victim was transported to hospital and his status has recently been deemed to be critical, police say.

Currently, the area around the 7-Eleven convenience store has been taped off along with a residence to the north of the store on Mitton Street.

The store currently remains closed and the area will remain taped off for an undetermined period of time as a crime scene.

Members of the Sarnia Police Service Criminal Investigation Branch require the public’s assistance in regards to identifying three individuals in the above photo.

Officers wish to speak to these individuals regarding any information they may have pertaining to the stabbing.
