Noah: Stanley Lorne Sr. , a member of the Delaware Nation at Moraviantown passed away peacefully at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Chatham on Monday, November 6, 2017 at the age of 81.
Born in Moraviantown, son of the late Leonard and Nellie (Hopkins) Noah. Stan is survived by his loving friend and wife Lillian (Stonefish) Noah and their children Stanley “Lorne” Noah Jr. (Julie), Rebecca Noah-Fisher, and Velma Noah; grandchildren Justin, Shawnee, Stan Noah III, Nicholas, Celeste (Neejig), Tawny, Curtis, Trenton, Jalen, Brooke, Eeshulaandeew; Great-Grandchildren Wchaphik, Mbiisus, Miken, Navaya, Awehleew, (the late) Cedar; brothers Jessie and Francis; sister Erma Akiwenzie. Predeceased by brothers Leonard, Ronnie, Bill, and sisters Marjorie Logan, Mildred Cryle, and Marilyn Tobias.
Family and friends will be received at the Delaware Nation Community Centre on Thursday from 4:00 PM – 8:00 PM. The funeral service will be held at the Delaware Nation Community Centre, Moraviantown on Friday, November 10, 2017 at 11:00 AM. Interment Moraviantown Cemetery. Arrangements entrusted to the John C.
