A Remembrance Day service was held in Wallaceburg on Saturday, November 11.
It began at Wallaceburg District Secondary School at 9:30 a.m., with the laying of family and business wreaths.
At 10:20 a.m. the crowd marched from the high school to the Cenotaph, with some people being brought on a people mover.
The official service at the Cenotaph took place just before 11 a.m., with the laying of the Silver Cross and other wreaths, along with speeches from dignitaries and a moment of silence.
Following the service, a light lunch was set to be provided free of charge at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 18.
