Police looking to ID alleged thief

The Chatham-Kent Police Service are looking for the public’s help to identify an alleged thief.

Police officials say on Monday, November 6 at 7:27 p.m. an unknown woman entered the Real Canadian Superstore through the front entrance.

The address of the Superstore is 791 St. Clair Street N. in Chatham.

Once inside, the woman proceeded to the appliance section where she chose a KitchenAid Mixer valued at $400, off the shelf and then allegedly exited the store making no attempt to pay for the item.

Police are seeking the public’s assistance in identifying the unknown woman.
