Wallaceburg’s Seth Griffith has been placed on waivers by the Buffalo Sabres.
If Griffith is not claimed by another team by 12 p.m. on Monday, he could be sent down by Buffalo to their AHL affiliate, the Rochester Americans.
After being a healthy scratch for a few games, the 24-year-old forward skated in the Sabres 3-0 loss to Montreal on Saturday, recording one shot and a penalty in 9:03 minutes of ice time.
Griffith has 2 goals, 1 assist and 14 shots in 18 games this season for Buffalo.
