Steven Rainbow Waboose (Cleveland), Ho-Chunk/Anishnaabe and a member of Walpole Island First Nation, died suddenly at Walpole Island on Saturday, December 2, 2017 at the age of 24.
Steven is the beloved son of Gabe Cleveland, Angie Waboose and Anthony Lyle Hunt. Loved grandson of Valarie & the late Steven Waboose and Gerald Cleveland Sr. & Annette Littlewolf. Dear brother of Alsina Waboose (Rey), Janae Hunt (Blair), Dante Hunt, Rainah Hunt, Jace Cleveland, Gabrielle Cleveland, Chanel Cleveland, Delarose Cleveland and Delvin Cleveland. He will be missed by his two nephews Jayce Waboose and Aazen Hunt.
The family will receive relatives and friends at Valarie’s home, 628 River Road, Walpole Island, on Thursday and Friday. The funeral will be held at the Walpole Island Sports Complex on Saturday, December 9 at 11 AM. Interment to follow at Highbanks Cemetery.
