Jingle run, Dresden Christmas events, Concert Band Christmas show

We’re going to take a look at some upcoming events in the community, which is brought to you by Krogman Auto, a true family operated business. – Christmas is coming early to Dresden this Saturday, with a number of community events, starting with breakfast with Santa. It runs from 8:30-11:30am at the Dresden Legion.

– A Christmas Craft Show runs from 9am-2pm at the Dresden Arena.

– The Dresden BIA Open Late runs from 5-9 p.m. at the downtown Dresden businesses.

– The Kinsmen Santa Claus Parade runs from 6-7 p.m. in downtown Dresden, kids can also meet Santa after the parade

– There is a Christmas Night Market from 5-9pm along Main Street in Dresden.

– The Jingle All The Way Run is taking place in Wallaceburg on Saturday morning. Registation begins at 7:30 a.m. at the Wallaceburg Kinsmen Centre, with the their 5K walk starting at 8:45 a.m. and the 5K Run starting at 9 a.m. The entry fee is some canned goods, as donations for the food bank are being accepted.

– In Wallaceburg, come and meet Santa and Mrs Claus at the Wallaceburg Museum on Saturday, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m.

– LEGO Magic is taking place at the Wallaceburg Library from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.

UPDATE: This event has been postponed until the New Year. A night of music is taking place at the Moose Lodge in Wallaceburg on Saturday honouring the late Tragically Hip singer, Gord Downie. Pull 3, Rhythm Dogs, and the Roasted Goats are playing… proceeds are going to the Gord Downie Fund for Brain Cancer Research.

– The Wallaceburg Concert Band is presenting “Christmas Comes to Town” on Saturday night at WDSS. Admission is FREE, but donations are being accepted. The show starts at 7 p.m.

– To help celebrate 1 million clickS on Jayce Trembley’s truck, the ‘Chevy Christmas Cruise – A Million Clicks for Cans’ event is being held. The cruise/food drive will be held on Sunday, December 10 from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m., starting from the Salvation Army Thrift Store in Wallaceburg. Read more about this story, here.
