Josef “Joe” Weber of Dresden

Weber: Josef “Joe” a resident of Dresden and formerly of Bothwell passed away peacefully at his home, surrounded by his daughters, on Friday, December 8, 2017, just four days shy of his 80th birthday.

He left us to be reunited with his beloved wife, Helen (Munro) Weber (2016). Born in Peneskut, Hungary, son of the late John and Katarina Weber. Loving father and father-in-law of Ruth Ann and Henry Duff, Janet and Rick McPhail, Jackie Weber and Ken Koster, Donna and Gregg Ellis, Susan and Steve Vanek and Joanne and Tim Badder. Cherished Papa to Harley and Ricky McPhail and Michael and Jonathon Vanek. Dear brother of Cecelia and Peter Landry and Erwin (1993) and Kathy Weber. Fondly remembered by many cousins, nieces and nephews. Predeceased by infant brother Michael.

Josef was very proud of his daughters and their life accomplishments. He took even greater pride in his grandsons` achievements. He especially loved attending their hockey games and cheering from the sidelines as their biggest fan.

The Weber family will receive friends at the Badder & Robinson Funeral Home 211 Elm St., Bothwell on Sunday, December 10, 2017 from 2-4 p.m. A private family service will be held with interment in St. Ignatius Cemetery, Bothwell.

If desired, donations to the 2003 Chatham-Kent Cyclones or the Blenheim Blades Junior C Hockey Association would be greatly appreciated by the family.

Online donations and condolences may be left at www.badderfuneralhome.com
