Peacefully surrounded by her family at the Chatham-Kent Hospice on Monday January 1st, 2018, Mrs. Dianna Baert of Dover in her 79th year.
Cherished daughter of the late Alois and Maria Delaey. Beloved wife of the late Marcel (2015). Loving mother of Deb Charbonneau and her husband Joe of Chatham, and Brian and his wife Isabel Baert of Ridgeway, and late infant daughter Sandra (1966). She will be lovingly remembered by her grandchildren Denise (Ryan) and Kyle (Sarah) and her great grandchildren Aaliyah, Ryder, Phoebe, and Penny. Dear sister of Leah Crombey (the late Robert) and Yvonne VanDeVelde and her husband Ron, and predeceased by her brothers Lucien and Henry Delaey (the late Madeline). Survived by her sister-in-law Mary Delaey. Dianna cherished her family and life on the farm.
She enjoyed spending time with friends and neighbours. Family and friends are invited to the Alexander & Houle Funeral Home, 245 Wellington West, Chatham, 519 352 -2710 on Wednesday January 3rd with visiting from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m.
The funeral service will be conducted from the chapel of the funeral home on Thursday January 4th at 11 a.m. with Father Frank Leslie. Cremation to follow with interment at a later date.
