Gamer gets some help in Wallaceburg

A Wallaceburg man got some help after a conversation through an online video game.

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials say on January 6, a 34-year-old man made comments to another person he was playing an online video game with.

Police say the comments caused the other player to worry for the safety of the Chatham-Kent man, so the fellow gamer called the game’s customer service department.

The customer service representative was able to contact the Chatham-Kent Emergency Dispatch about their concerns and the Wallaceburg man was taken to a local hospital by ambulance.
