Mr. Rosaire “Twiss” Henry Bechard, a resident of Wallaceburg, passed away on Sunday, January 7, 2018 at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Public General Campus, in Chatham, at the age of 93.
Rosaire was born in Wallaceburg and was a son of the late Henry and and Della (Emery) Bechard.
Beloved husband of the late Eliza (Barbe) Bechard (2013).Loving father and father-in-law of Dana (Theo) Van Vlymen, Mike (Adria) Bechard, Nancy (Dennis) Owen and the late Susan Bechard.
Sadly missed by his grandchildren Cara, Jay, Sean, Pauline, Janet, Sherri, Ian, Colin, Steve, Kate and his great grandchildren Will, Devan, Lexie, Trina, Elliott, Chloe, Jade, Kieran, Lucas, Charlotte and Madison.Survived by two sisters Delina and Mary. Predeceased by several brothers and sisters. Also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Family and friends will be received at the Eric F. Nicholls Funeral Home Ltd. 639 Elgin St., Wallaceburg, on Wednesday, January 10, 2018 from 7-9 p.m. The Funeral Mas will be celebrated on Thursday, January 11, 2018 from Our Lady Help of Christians Church, in Wallaceburg at 11 a.m. Rosaire will lie in state at the church for one hour prior to the mass on Thursday from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m.
Interment will follow in Riverview Cemetery, Wallaceburg.As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Wallaceburg Legion Br. 18 may be left at the funeral home.
We will miss our Uncle Twiss. He was a great man and we have so many great memories thanks to him. Love The Carrick Family.
