‘Double fatality’ after crash in St. Clair Township

Police are investigating after a ‘double fatality’ during a crash on Courtright Line in St. Clair Township.

Lambton OPP officials say a collision occurred between a transport truck and a motor vehicle.

The driver of transport was taken to hospital with minor injuries, OPP officials say.

Police say Courtright Line at Kimball Road will be closed for several hours to allow for investigation.

I totally agree my Dad passed away when his truck was upside down in a ditch full of water. I will never forget the image when I got my local newspaper and there it was a huge pic of dads truck upside down on the front page of the newspaper. It is an image I will never forget and made it that much more painful to actually see how my father found. My condolences to the families impacted by such a life changing event. Until whoever posted or approved to have this pic posted has this happen to their loved ones will they understand how painful this image could be.

Its just a picture showing the intensity of the accident… There’s no bodies, no inappropriate things in it. I don’t think people need to rip apart the current because they posted a picture.

The Current has always been ethical. They have proven to be factual and the photos show the aftermath with what happened. It is news that is local and reported well. The photos were released by the OPP. They didn’t show any individuals and never have in accidents. My deepest condolences to the friends and family of those who tragically passed away. This was a horrible accident.

Sad but this photo shows what happens to an innocent trucker trying to make money for his family due to someone not paying attention to a stop sogn. This is what is sad and they lost their lives for it. Trucker was very lucky and a victim here.
