Police investigating B&E and theft in Wallaceburg

Police are investigating a break and enter and theft in Wallaceburg.

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials say sometime between Thursday, January 4, and Monday, January 8 an unknown suspect or suspects attended an address on Blue Water Line.

Police say the suspect broke a basement window and gained access into the basement of this residence, as well as entering a shed located on the property.

Stolen from the shed was a jerry can of gasoline.

Damage is estimated at $2,000 to the garage door, a man door and the basement window of the house.
