Cheryl and Karel are owners of CK Spices, Coffee and Teas which opened it’s doors in Wallaceburg on June 10, 2011 to a very warm and supportive community. Their shop carries a large selection of teas, special gourmet coffee as well as a range of coffee and tea accessories, custom gift baskets and more recently are home to Crowning Glory Cakes.
CK Spices, Coffee and Teas is home to Crowning Glory Custom Cakes & Bakes made on site to order, from scratch in their certified kitchen! You can really taste the difference with a cake made from scratch! Check out their cake pictures and customer testimonials on their site. Cheryl has several years of bakery experience and was the Wedding Cake Coordinator at the Stone Crock Bakery in St. Jacobs. She has many professional cake decorating courses and has taught cake decorating in Kitchener, Stratford and currently teaches at Michael’s Arts & Crafts in Chatham.
Teas – They carry a variety of over 45 loose teas to chose from as well as a large selection of bagged teas. Customers are always surprised to see the selection they have when they first come in.
Coffee – At CK Spices, Coffee and Teas, they carry a special premium gourmet coffee: Las Chicas Del Café grown in Nicaragua and roasted in St. Thomas, Ontario by 2 sisters that have a family plantation in Nicaragua. They are a direct grower which means no middleman! Each sale of their coffee contributes to the social development of children in their coffee producing community. CK Spices, Coffee and Teas carry ground, whole bean and flavoured varieties of this coffee and also offer coffee to go!
Tea & Coffee Accessories – Come in and check out their unique selection of accessories that include tea pots, mugs and cups, strainers and tea balls, French presses, drip catchers, tea bag holders, filter bags, espresso sets, travel mugs and matcha whisks.
