Dennis, a resident of Chatham, passed away Monday, January 1, 2018 at the CKHA-Chatham Campus at the age of 63.
He was born in Chatham and was the son of the late Clarence Wellwood and Franceline (Cadotte) Wellwood. He is survived by his step-father, George Hitchmough of Chatham. Loving father of Daniel Wellwood of Markham, ON. Dear brother of Richard (Christine) Wellwood and Ruth Ann (nee Wellwood) Laurie.
Kind uncle to Marilee (nee Wellwood) Ninham, Michelle (Paul) Wellwood, Theresa (John) Wellwood, Catherine Laurie-Wright and Robert (Patti) Laurie. Fondly remembered by many friends.
Cremation has taken place.
A Remembrance Reception will be held at the McKinlay Reception Centre, 463 St. Clair Street, Chatham, ON, on April 14, 2018 at 11 a.m. Dress code is Casual.
