Theft at mausoleum building in Wallaceburg

Police are looking for information form the public after a theft at the mausoleum building in the Wallaceburg cemetery.

Chatham-Kent Crime Stoppers officials say during the evening of January 18 unknown suspects entered the construction site of the mausoleum building.

“The thieves then removed a Honda Generator with the words Bartlett Restoration painted on it, a propane heater (red in colour), diesel and gas fuel cans and several feet of extension cords,” Crime Stoppers officials said in a press release.

The total value of the property stolen is $4,500.

Crime Stoppers and the police are seeking the return of these stolen items and information that can identify the people responsible for this theft.
