The Wallaceburg Lakers finished their regular season on a losing note on Wednesday.
They fell at home to the Essex 73’s 6-0 on Wednesday, January 31.
Travis Moore stopped 34 shots in the loss for Wallaceburg, who were out-shot by the 73’s, 40-22.
Wallaceburg failed to score a goal in their final five games of the year.
They ended the season on a 12-game losing streak.
They finished with a 3-37-0-0 record on the year, last in the West Stobbs Division of the Provincial Junior Hockey League.
