Auditions are being held on February 3 and 4 in the Jeanne Gordon Hall, above the Museum, from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Organizers are looking to cast four males, from their mid-20’s to early 40’s.

– Did you miss Bad Art Night in November? Head to the Wallaceburg Library on Tuesday, February 6 at 6:00 pm. Leave your talent @ home and make some really ugly art. The Library will provide the supplies, you provide the badness. Open to 16 and older. Registration required. Call 519-627-5292.

– Fairfield Park in Wallaceburg is holding a 10 Warning Signs for Dementia presentation on February 7 at 6 p.m. A representative from the Alzheimer’s Society is making the presentation.

– A public meeting is being held at the Civic Centre on Monday, February 12 at 4 p.m. to collect input about putting a question on the 2018 municipal ballot about reducing the size of Chatham Kent Council. If council agrees, a question asking ‘if the number of Councillors in Chatham-Kent should be reduced?’ would be placed before voters during the October 22, 2018 municipal election.

– And finally… Pet and Wildlife Rescue has received a $14,500 grant from PetSmart Charities of Canada to cover the cost of 250 free spays/neuters in the community.
