Bradley Warren Sands of Walpole Island First Nation died suddenly on Wednesday, February 7, 2018 at the age of 61.
Brad is the son of the late Gordon Isaac and Florence Ellen Sands (Pinnance). Loved father of Jason Sword (Kelsa Williams), Megan Sword and the late Terrance Soney. Dear brother of Debbie, Chris and the late Rhonda, Leonard, Bruce, Muriel, Don and Ellen. Brad was an industrial carpenter by trade, owned Canvas Back Kennels, training Labrador retrievers. He was also a hunting guide, and was a member of Walpole Island First Nation Band Council and prominent Channelkeeper.
The family will receive relatives and friends at the HAYCOCK-CAVANAGH FUNERAL HOME, 409 Nelson Street in Wallaceburg from 2-4 & 7-9 PM on Friday. The funeral service will be held at the Walpole Island Sports Complex on Saturday, February 10 at 2 PM. Cremation with interment in Highbanks Cemetery.
