The Dresden Kings have a 2-0 lead in their opening round best-of-seven playoff series against the Wheatley Sharks.
Dresden shut-out the Sharks in Wheatley on Wednesday night, by a score of 4-0.
Brendan Johnston was the game’s first star as the Port Lambton native stopped all 29 shots he faced on Wednesday night.
Geoffry VandenBoorn led the offense for Dresden, scoring 2 goals. Derek Shaw and Kenny Chisolm also found the back of the net for the Kings, who out-shot Wheatley 36-29.
Game #3 is set for Friday night in Dresden.
