International Plowing Match and Rural Expo sponsorship night

Local organizers of the 2018 International Plowing Match and Rural Expo (IPM 2018) and the Ontario Plowmen’s Association (OPA) are inviting Chatham-Kent business people to learn about potential sponsorship opportunities.

The massive public event will be held in Pain Court September 18-22.

“We have a variety of exciting opportunities for potential sponsors,” says Jamie McGrail, co-chair of the IPM 2018 Chatham-Kent Sponsorship Committee.

“There are many opportunities we can tailor to fit any size of sponsorship. We just need to sit down and talk. Already, companies are signing up for this great opportunity to make their names known far and wide, and to involve their employees in the community. These are great, exciting times for CK.”

IPM 2018 will include plowing competitions and a 100-acre Tented City featuring displays of life in Chatham-Kent, exhibitors’ products, agricultural education displays, and entertainment. An RV Park will provide approximately one thousand sites for the motorhomes for visitors from across Ontario and beyond.

“Judging by previous Plowing Matches, we could have approximately 80 thousand visitors,” says McGrail. “This would be one of the largest groups of people to visit our community since the last IPM held in Chatham-Kent back in 1979,” she says.

“This event is so prominent that the Legislative Assembly of Ontario will close down so the leaders of all political parties can attend.”

McGrail invites anyone interested in being a sponsor for IPM 2018 to join her and the sponsorship committee for an informal presentation about how you can support this historic event.

Please RSVP to Jamie McGrail by e-mail at jmcgrail@mcgrails.com or telephone 519-352- 9480, or RSVP to Deb Hawkins by e-mail at debhawkins@sympatico.ca or telephone 519-401- 4077.

The event is being held as follows:
