A man was arrested on a warrant in Wallaceburg on Thursday.
Chatham-Kent Police Service officials say on January 12 of this year a 28-year-old Wallaceburg man failed to attend court in Chatham to answer to the charge of assault.
A warrant was then issued for his arrest, police say.
Yesterday at approximately 12:30 p..m the male was located on Dufferin Street, in Wallaceburg and arrested, police say.
The man male was transported to the Chatham-Kent Police Service Head Quarters location and later released with a future court date.
