Cash & cigarettes taken during robbery in Wheatley

The Chatham-Kent Police Service is looking for information after an alleged robbery in Wheatley.

Police officials say on Sunday, February 18, 2018 at approximately 4:45 a.m. an unknown suspect entered Mac’s Milk on Talbot Road West and allegedly demanded money and cigarettes from the cashier in a threatening manner.

The cashier complied with the suspect’s demands, police say.

The cashier was not physically injured during the incident.

The suspect fled on foot and was last seen wearing a grey hoodie, grey facemask, blue jeans, blue latex gloves and black backpack.
