3/4 cups brown sugar
3/4 cups rolled oats
3/4 cups all purpose flour
1/2 cup butter melted
1/4 cup white sugar
2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
1/8 teaspoon nutmeg
3/4 cups fresh cranberries
3/4 cups chopped walnuts optional

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Lightly grease and 8×8 baking dish. In a bowl, combine the brown sugar, oats, flour, and butter. Mix until it has the consistency of bread crumbs. In another bowl mix the sugar, cinnamon, nutmeg, cranberries and nuts. Mix until well coated. Place half of the crumb mixture in the baking dish. Then evenly spread the cranberry mixture over the crumb mixture. Top off with the remaining crumb mixture. Bake 40-45 minutes, until golden brown and bubbly.
