The Buffalo Sabres announced on Thursday the team has assigned forward Seth Griffith to the Rochester Americans of the AHL.
Griffith had been recalled by the Sabres on February 27.
In his return to the NHL, Griffith skated in three games with the Sabres.
He recorded zero points and no shots on net in limited action.
He then missed a few games with an upper body injury.
In 21 games with Buffalo this year Griffith has 2 goals and 1 assist in 21 games.
In 36 games this season with the Amerks, Griffith has recorded 13 goals and 21 assists for 34 points.
