Henning Holm Kristensen of Wallaceburg passed away on April 4, 2018 in Chatham, Ontario at the age of 93.
He was the husband of the late Ursula Geldreich (2001) and the son of the late Søren and Marie Kristensen of Denmark. Henning was the brother of Else Johansen and the late Frode Kristensen of Denmark. He is survived by his sister-in-law, Brigitta Ludgate in California and his brother-in-law Peter Geldreich (Josie) in British Columbia. Henning is also survived by 10 nieces and nephews and their families.
Henning was born in Denmark and travelled a lot in his younger days, working in Kenya and Frobisher Bay before settling down in Southern Ontario. In his later years, Henning spent numerous hours making wooden toy trucks in his workshop in his garage in Wallaceburg. Many thanks go to the staff of Meadow Park Nursing Home in Chatham for 4 years of wonderful care.
Cremation has taken place and a private burial will take place in Riverview Cemetery at a later date. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the HAYCOCK-CAVANAGH FUNERAL HOME, 409 Nelson Street in Wallaceburg.
