Chatham Maroons head coach resigns

The Chatham Maroons announced last week that they have accepted the resignation of head coach Ron Horvat.
 
“Ron’s contribution to the Maroons over the last 18 months has been appreciated by both the Maroons management and players,” team officials said in a statement released to the media. 

“The Maroons wish him success in his new endeavor.”
 
A search for Horvat’s replacement has started, and the Maroons will announce the new head coach for 2018/19 once one is selected.
