Arrest made after B&E in Wallaceburg

An arrest was made after a break and enter in Wallaceburg.

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege on April 12 officers responded to a break-in in Wallaceburg where various tools and fishing equipment were stolen from the victim’s garage.

Through investigation, police identified the man allegedly responsible, police say.

Last night, a 33-year-old Wallaceburg man was arrested and charged with break and enter and being in possession of property obtained by a crime under $5,000.

He was released with conditions pending a future court date of May 8, 2018.
