Newcomer Marshall Powless led the Wallaceburg Red Devils to a victory in their home opener on Tuesday night. Powless scored 3 goals and added 1 assist in an 11-7 Wallaceburg win over the London Blue Devils. Wallaceburg will be back in action at home on Sunday when they face their heated rival, the Windsor Clippers. The game gets underway at 4 p.m.

Wallaceburg’s Madison Broad is set to represent Canada at the Youth Olympic Games from October 3-14 in Argentina. This is the second national team she’s been named to this month, as she will swim for Canada at the Junior Pan Pacific Championships taking place August 23-27 in Fiji.
