Nicholas “Nick” Laprise

Mr. Nicholas “Nick” Marc Joseph Laprise, a resident of Chatham, passed away suddenly on Wednesday, April 18, 2018 at the age of 24. Nick was born in Dover and was a loving son of Jerome and Nathalie (Bilodeau) Laprise.
Beloved husband of Shelby Barrett-Fernandes.
Loving daddy of Eithen and Mavis Laprise.
Kind brother of David (Jacqueline), Matthew (Sarah) and Christopher (Ashley).
Missed by his Grand-papa Jean-Luc (Marie) and Grande-maman Pierrette (Maurice).
Predeceased by his grandparents Augustine and Marie Jeanne Laprise.
Sadly missed by many aunts, uncles, cousins, family and friends.

Nick loved watching many sports, the New England Patriots were his favorite. He enjoyed playing two pitch with his team the Dover Rod and Gunners, in Grande Pointe. He was an avid collector of shot glasses with over 1000 in his collection, despite not even drinking. Nick was always willing to help anyone who needed it.

Nick was an amazing father who loved to teach his children valuable things, most recently teaching Mavis to walk. He loved to joke around and be mischievous with his family, wanting to make sure everyone had a smile on their face. His big bear hugs will be missed by all, but never forgotten.
