Earlier this month, on April 11 members of the CKPS Traffic Unit conducted traffic enforcement regarding commercial vehicles with the OPP and Ministry of Transportation.
Police say as a result of this joint forces operation:
– 18 vehicles were inspected
– 7 vehicles were taken out of service
– 1 set of licence plates were seized
– 21 charges were laid
The Chatham-Kent Police Service reminds drivers that these commercial vehicles blitz will continue throughout the year across our community in an effort to keep our roadways safe.
