The Wallaceburg Concert Band will be performing at WDSS on Saturday, April 28. The group will be performing ‘2018: A Musical Odyssey’ The performance is at 7 p.m. and admission is free.

Grab your games, cards, and your friends, and visit the Jeanne Gordon Hall for the Museum’s Board Games Night on Saturday. All are welcome. If you don’t have your own games you can use the Museum’s as they have lots to choose from. Snacks will be available to purchase. The event runs from 3:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.

There is one more qualifying round this Sunday April 29th at The Canadian Belgian Dutch Club on Dufferin Ave. in Wallaceburg for the Basso’s No Frills Jr. Star Search at 2 p.m . The winner of each category at the finals, which is May 6, will receive plaques and $250 cash from Basso’s No Frills! Both 2nd place winners also get plaques and $150 each from the CBD Club, and third place will get plaques and $75 each thanks to The Glass Guru. The categories are 11 to 14 and 15 to 18.

Hike for Hospice CK is taking place on Sunday, April 29 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. along the Mud Creek Trail in Chatham.

The Final Push community kickoff for the Foundation of the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance is scheduled for Friday, May 4 at the Dresden Royal Canadian Legion from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.

The Women Helping Women group will be meeting at Country View Golf Course on Thursday, May 10, for dinner anytime after 5 p.m. Cot is $20 cash for the buffet or you can go just for the meeting at 6:30 p.m. Donations can also be received online at womenhelpingwomen.ca. Everyone is welcome to attend.

The candidates in Lambton-Kent-Middlesex for the Ontario election are being invited to a debate in Wallaceburg. The focus of the all-candidates debate will be health care. The event is being held on May 12 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. at the Royal Canadian Legion Br. 18, located at 52 Margaret Ave. in Wallaceburg.
