Police investigating man’s death in Lambton

The OPP are investigating after a man died in Lambton County on Sunday.

Police officials say on Sunday, April 29 at 2:30 p.m., officers at the Lambton Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a 9-1-1 call at a residence on Egremont Road in Warwick Township to assist paramedics.

Police say a 29-year-old male, who had been injured, died of his injuries.

Members of the Lambton OPP Crime Unit and Forensic Identification Services (FIS), under the direction of Acting Detective Inspector Randy Gaynor of the OPP Criminal Investigation Branch (CIB), continue to investigate the circumstances of this death, police officials said in media release.

A post mortem is expected to take place today at the Office of the Chief Coroner and Forensic Pathology Service (OCC-OFPS) at London Health Sciences.
