Red Devils thump the Pacers in Point Edward

The Wallaceburg Red Devils took care of business during their first road game of the season on Tuesday night.

The first place Red Devils pounded the Point Edward Pacers by a score of 18-8.

Tanner Cole led the way for Wallaceburg with 4 goals and 1 assist. Cory Lucier scored 3 goals and added 4 assists, Marshall Powless had 2 goals and 3 assists and Kyle Dawson scored 1 goal and added 4 assists.

Lucas Jacobs, who matched up his brother and former Red Devils goalie Noble Jacobs, picked up the win in goal for Wallaceburg, stopping 43 shots in his first start of the season.

He also picked up 4 assists in the win.

Wallaceburg is now 4-1 on the season, good for first place in the Ontario Junior ‘B’ Lacrosse League Far West division.

The Red Devils will be back at home on Saturday when they host the Owen Sound Stars.

The game gets underway at 7 p.m. and there is also an autograph session taking place following the game.

Wallaceburg will also host Guelph on Sunday at 3 p.m
