A London man faces careless driving charge after a crash on the 401.
Chatham-Kent OPP officials say on May 3, around 12 p.m. Chatham-Kent Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a two vehicle motor vehicle collision on Highway 401 near Orford Road.
Police allege that investigation revealed the driver of an eastbound motor vehicle had lost control and drove into the back of a tractor trailer.
The motor vehicle then entered the centre median and came to rest in the westbound lane.
The driver of the motor vehicle suffered minor injuries.
The driver of the tractor trailer was not injured.
The vehicle was towed from the scene.
As a result, the male driver, 52-years-old from London, was charged with careless driving, contrary to the Highway Traffic Act.
