Police investigating shooting at Dresden Raceway

Police are investigating after an alleged shooting at the Dresden Raceway.

Chatham-Kent Police Service officials say on Saturday May 5, shortly before 11 p.m., police and EMS responded to the Dresden Raceway following reports of a possible shooting.

A 58-year-old male was located with a non-life threatening gunshot wound, police allege.

The victim was initially transported to the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, but was later transferred to the London Health Sciences Center.

Police say the area was evacuated and secured by police.

Police remain on scene and the investigation is continuing.
