Wallaceburg based business, Home & Cottage Interiors, has the perfect gift for Mom from her adult kids.
When you’re an adult child, finding just the right gift for Mother’s Day can be challenging.

“I know that the thing I want the most from my daughters is to spend time with them. Our adult children lead very busy lives, so getting to spend some one-on-one time with them are rare little moments that we cherish.”
Home & Cottage Interiors offers a number of fun workshops every month that you could do with your Mom.
You can choose to complete a project like a custom made sign, tray, paddle or clock with the quote of your choice done up as a stencil so you can get expert results.
Or for the DIY kind of Mom, sign up for the Chalk Paint for Beginners class and learn how to upcycle your tired looking furniture.
You can pick up a gift certificate for a workshop and give it to Mom this Sunday, then pick out a workshop that you can do together on a day that works well for both of you.
The cost for the workshops range from $50-$100 and includes tax and snacks.
“It’s a very social outing,” says Galvin.
“The participants enjoy a fun evening out and get to take home a great creation for their own home or to give as a very unique gift.”
Home & Cottage Interiors also does private parties for groups of 6 to 16 people, so if you can get enough family or friends together, you can pick the day and time that works best for your group.
Home & Cottage Interiors is located at 1964 Dufferin Ave., which is west of Wallaceburg just passed Fairfield Park Nursing Home.
They are open Tuesday to Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
