Mr. James Henderson, a resident of Wallaceburg, passed away on Thursday, May 10, 2018 at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Public General Campus, in Chatham, at the age of 97.
The late James Henderson is resting at the Eric F. Nicholls Funeral Home Ltd. 639 Elgin St., Wallaceburg.

Following his wishes, cremation will take place.

Life Legacy

Mr. James Henderson, a resident of Chatham, formerly of Wallaceburg, passed away on Thursday, May 10, 2018 at the Chatham-Kent Health Alliance, Public General Campus, in Chatham, at the age of 97.
James was born in Toronto and was a son of the late James and Elizabeth (Donaldson) Henderson.
Beloved husband of the late Margaret (Cornelis) Henderson (2012).
Loving father and father-in-law of Becky (Bob) Simpkins of Thunder Bay, David (Mary Anne) Henderson of Chatham, Cindy (Jim) Vynckier of Simcoe, Debbie (Andy) Johnson of Alberta, Peggy (Bo) Buyaki of Saskatchewan.
Sadly missed by 11 grandchildren, Kari, Tisha, Kyle, Jeff, Carolyn, Eric, Sean, Tim, David, Caitlin and Tamara and 5 great grandchildren, Sadie, Marley, Finnigan, Olivia and Jack.
Kind brother of Agnes Male.
Predeceased by his sisters Margaret Henderson and Jeannie Cox and his brothers Bill Henderson and Don Henderson.
James was a RCAF WWII veteran from 1939 – 1945 and was a recipient of the Distinguished Flying Cross.

Following with Jim’s wishes, cremation has taken place.

A celebration of life in memory of Jim and Marg will be held on Saturday, June 16, 2018 at 12 noon from the Knights of Columbus Hall, Wallaceburg.

As an expression of sympathy, donations to the Royal Canadian Legion Br. 18 may be left at the funeral home
