The Wallaceburg Red Devils are on a roll. The First place squad hammered the London Blue Devils on Thursday night by a score of 17-6. Kyle Dawson continued his tear with 5 more goals. He now has 25 on the season in seven games, that is tops in the entire Ontario Junior ‘B’ Lacrosse League. Tyler Brown had a big night for Wallaceburg, with an 8-point night, scoring 3 goals and adding 5 assists. The 7-1 Red Devils head to Welland on Saturday and are back in London on Tuesday.

The Red Devils also got a nice boost this week from a local service club. The Knights of Pythias made a $600 donation to the Devils. The cheque presentation was held on Wednesday.

In senior girls high school rugby acton on Thursday, Blenheim topped Wallaceburg 29-20.

In senior boys high school baseball, Wallaceburg beat Chatham-Kent, 12-0.

In senior girls high school soccer on Wednesday, NLSS beat L-K, 7-4. Julia Verscheure scored 3 goals for the Cards, while Madison Mortier scored 1.

And finally in senior boys play, L-K and NLSS tied 3-3 on Wednesday. Myles Fraser scored twice, while Mark Mortier added 1 goal for the Dresden squad.
