Red Devils make it seven straight against Welland

The Wallaceburg Red Devils have won seven straight games after topping the Generals in Welland on Saturday, 15-8.

Kyle Dawson kept up his torrid pace with 9 points, including 3 goals and 6 assists.

Dawson is now tied for second in the entire Ontario Junior ‘B’ Lacrosse League with 48 points and is alone in second in the league with 28 goals, in only eight games played.

Marshall Powless had 3 goals and 3 assists for 6 points, while Tanner Cole also out up 6 points, with 2 goals and 4 assists.

Brayden Bell made 30 saves in the win.

Wallaceburg is now 8-1 on the season, good for a tie for first place with Windsor in the Far West division.

The Red Devils are in London on Tuesday night to face the 0-9 Blue Devils. The game gets underway at 8 p.m

Wallaceburg will be back in Wallaceburg Memorial Arena this weekedn, when they host Niagara on Saturday and Windsor on Sunday.

Both games get started at 4 p.m.
