Chatham-Kent ready to ‘talk pot’

The Municipality of Chatham-Kent is getting prepared to ‘talk pot.’

On June 11, Chatham-Kent administration will hold a public forum free to the public on the coming legalization of marijuana.

The session will be hosted on YourTV and residents are welcome to attend the event, which will be held in the Council Chambers at the Civic Centre in Chatham at 6 p.m.

Panelists will speak before Council regarding the legalization of marijuana on a variety of topics, including:

– Enforcement

– Public Health and Education

– Business Licensing

– Odour mediation and control

– Land Use Planning

– Employer/employee relations

– Recreation Areas (smoke free)
