What is Tourism Week?

Tourism Week is a national grassroots initiative that brings attention to the economic opportunities offered through travel and tourism.

Chatham-Kent is rich with opportunities for visitors and residents to celebrate and experience and tourism businesses are also significant contributors to the local economy.

“We are excited to launch another summer season of tourism in Chatham-Kent, and what is more appropriate than doing so during Tourism Week?” says Tourism Stakeholder Advisory Council Chair Susanne Spence Wilkins.

“This is a great way for residents to be reminded of the activities that are in their own backyard, while tourism related businesses can get a better idea of what CK Tourism can help them with.”
