Mr. Cornelis “Cori” Bruin, a resident of Sombra passed away peacefully on Sunday May 20,2018, at the Bluewater Health, in Sarnia, at the age 90.
Cori was born in Amsterdam, Netherlands and was the son of the late Williem and Janna Bruin.
Beloved husband of 65 years to Mona (Provily) Bruin.
Loving father of the Late Rudy Bruin and Rob Bruin and father in law of Tracy Bruin(Mike Modde).
Cori was also dear Opa and will be sadly missed by his two grandchildren Kyrah (Ryan) Bright and Cody (Rachel) Bruin.
Great Opa to two beautiful great granddaughters Paxtyn and Camlin Bright.
Also Opa to Stephanie, Mackenzie and Bailey Modde
Kind brother to Jannie, Geertji, and Rudy (Hennie) of Holland, brother in-law to John Provily of London and Cor Provily of Holland.
Also survived by many nieces, nephews, family and friends.
The late Cori Bruin is resting at the Eric F. Nicholl’s Funeral Home Ltd. 639 Elgin Street. Wallaceburg.
Following Cori’s wishes, cremation has taken place.
Expressions of sympathy to the heart and stroke foundation and Alzheimers Society may be left at the funeral home.
