Two-vehicle rollover crash in Sarnia

A 48-year-old woman from Forest, Ontario was charged under the Highway Traffic Act after failing to stop at a stop sign at the intersection of Vidal Street South and Talfourd Street, Sarnia Police officials allege.

On June 5, 2018 just prior to 9 a.m., a 42-year-old woman from Sarnia, Ontario was driving southbound on Vidal Street when she was struck by a westbound vehicle causing her SUV to roll over onto its side, police officials allege.

The driver of the SUV was treated for minor injuries.

The 48 year old driver of the westbound vehicle was not injured and was subsequently charged with Disobey Stop Sign – Fail to Stop.

Both vehicles had to be towed from the scene.

The intersection was closed for approximately one hour while traffic was being re-directed away from the collision scene.
