Guided trail walks across Chatham-Kent

Chatham-Kent Trails has scheduled a week of guided trail walks across Chatham-Kent, to help families Power Off and Play!

These walks will take place during the week of June 11-15, starting at 6:30 p.m. at various locations.

Each walk will be guided by a Chatham-Kent Trails Council Volunteer.

Families are encouraged to bring their Power Off and Play! Activity Passports for “Get Out There” stamps.

They could win one of five grand prizes for completing 10 activities by July 8.

Please join us on the following dates, at various locations, for guided trail walks:

Monday June 11 at 6:30 p.m.:

– Blenheim – The Be-Fit/Berm Trail, 232 ½ Chatham Street South

– Chatham – The Rotary Eco Trail starting at Midwood Oxley Park, 217 Oxley Drive

– Ridgetown – TREES Trail, 53 Marsh Street

– Wallaceburg – Crothers Park Trail, 261 Forhan Street

Tuesday June 12 at 6:30 p.m.:

– Mitchell’s Bay – South Lakeshore Trail, 7 L Pinsonneault Street

Wednesday June 13 at 6:30 p.m.:

– Blenheim – Flook Trail, 231 Chatham Street South located behind the school on the south side

– Pain Court – Centennial Park Pathway, 16 Notre Dame Street

– Wallaceburg – Crothers Park Trail, 261 Forhan Street

Thursday June 14 at 6:30 p.m.:

– Dresden Trillium Extension – 231 St. George Street. Starting location is on the north side of the bridge between the Trillium trail and the extension through the school property.

Friday June 15 at 6:30 p.m.:

– Tilbury Northside Park Trail, 151 Queen Street
