Chatham-Kent Police Service officials allege on Thursday morning, the CKPS Traffic Unit conducted speed enforcement on St. Clair Street near Paxton Drive in Chatham:
– 15 motorists were charged with speeding
– 1 motorist was charged with not wearing a seatbelt
– 1 motorist was charged with stunt driving
The 36-year-old man Windsor man charged with stunt driving was observed travelling at a high rate of speed northbound on St. Clair Street.
Officers recorded him driving 106km/h in a posted 50km/h zone.
His driver’s licence has been suspended for 7 days.
His vehicle was towed from the scene and impounded for 7 days.
He will be required to attend Provincial Offences Court on July 11, 2018.
