Wallaceburg Outdoor Summer Concert Series starts tonight

The line-up for the second installment of The Co-Operators Wallaceburg Outdoor Summer Concert Series has been released.

Live and local music returns to Library Park from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. this Tuesday night (June 12).

This year, the combination of Jeff Black and Dan Knight will kick off the opening night festivities.

The full 2018 Outdoor Summer Concert series line-up includes:

June 19 – Nick Hedden & Toast & Jam

June 26 – Truckstop Super Friends & Moondog Howlers

July 3 – Bren Dube & Neil Malcomb Band

July 10 – Marty Oblak & Sterling Blues Band

July 17 – Connor Wilson & Jay Allan

July 24 – Acousticats & Jordan Ginty

July 31 – Dave Gatt 5 & Jacklyn Wills

Aug 7 – Mikayla Lozon & Three’s A Crowd

Aug 14 – Uku Kings

The outdoor series will once again be FREE admission and open to the public, planned for Tuesday nights through the summer months from June 12 to August 14.

Those attending are encouraged to bring a lawn chair or blanket. On site barbecues, draws and giveaways are expected to be a part of the weekly festivities.

The series also attracts local boaters, kayakers and canoes, with the live music setting on the banks of the Sydenham River.

The Co-Operators are once again backing the series as the title sponsor, with a $2,500 donation to the Arts Council. The Council was also awarded a $5,000 grant through the Municipality’s Community Partnership Fund, recently approved by Chatham-Kent Council.

The goal of the Wallaceburg & District Council For The Arts is to stimulate an awareness and appreciation for the arts in the surrounding area. The Wallaceburg & District Council For The Arts is a registered charity and not-for-profit organization.
