James Kicknosway, a resident of Walpole Island, passed away at the CKHA-Chatham Campus on Sunday, June 10, 2018 at the age of 89.
James is the son of the late Edward and Ethel (Jacobs) Kicknosway. Beloved husband of the late Nellievena (Day). Loving father of Vincent (Elaine), Everett (Gloria), James Jr. (Clara), Tony “Marone” and the late Elisabeth Blackbird “Putt”, Gardner, and Scott Sands. Dear brother of George, Ada Plain and the late Joe, Frank and Beulah Peters. He will also be missed by many grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other family.
The family will receive relatives and friends at the HAYCOCK-CAVANAGH FUNERAL HOME, 409 Nelson Street in Wallaceburg on Wednesday from 7-9 PM. The funeral Service will be celebrated at St. John the Baptist Anglican Church, Walpole Island, on Thursday, June 14, 2018 at 1 PM. Interment at Highbanks Cemetery.
