Armed robbery at Corunna variety store

The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Lambton County Crime Unit with the assistance of the OPP Forensic Identification Services (FIS) is currently investigating an armed robbery that occurred on Sunday, June 10, 2018 at a convenience store located on St. Clair Parkway in Corunna.

OPP officials allege that at approximately 8:20 p.m., a lone male entered into the convenience store where he displayed what appeared to be a handgun and demanded cash.

The suspect left the store on foot with a small quantity of cash.

The suspect then left in a car that was last observed travelling eastbound on St. Clair Boulevard.

The suspect is described as a white male of average height and build.

At the time of the robbery he was wearing a black hoodie, with blue jeans and running shoes.

The Lambton County OPP Crime Unit is continuing to investigate and is seeking assistance from the public.
