The annual Kids Fishing Derby is taking place on Sunday, July 1 at the Royal Canadian Legion Br. 18 in Wallaceburg.
Registration starts at 8:30 a.m. with the derby beginning at 9 a.m.
There will be prizes given out for the biggest fish and also for most fish caught.
Every kid gets a chance at winning a bicycle and there will be a ‘little ones’ fishing pool.
All of the children will receive a free hot dog, chips and drink around noon.
